Compo Beach and Marina
29-acre park features beach areas, a concession stand , pavilion, bath houses with lockers, and picnic areas including grills on south beach. Compo Beach also features a huge wooden playscape, basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, open skate areas, and a softball field.

Cockenoe Island
Off Seymour Point in Westport and only accessible by boat.

Old Mill Beach
Small public beach in a residential area on Hills Point Road.

Burying Hill Beach and Wetlands
Burying Hill Beach and Wetlands is located across the street from Greens Farms Academy, walking distance to Greens Farms railroad station.

Sherwood Island State Park
Connecticut's first state park. Sherwood Island is just over 235 acres in the Greens Farms section of Westport. It is bounded on the west by the Mill Pond and on the east by New Creek.

Living Memorials Project
Visitors to Sherwood Island State Park have a panoramic view of lower Manhattan where the World Trade Center once stood. Sherwood Island State Park is open to the public year-round. In the aftermath of 9/11, the Park served as the staging area for Connecticut’s resources being directed to support the New York disaster recovery effort.
